During the 14th Five Year Plan period, the renewable energy industry will deeply implement a new energy security strategy, adhere to the overall tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, anchor carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, take high-quality leapfrog development as the theme, improve quality and efficiency as the main line, and reform and innovation as the driving force, promote the large-scale, high proportion, market-oriented, and high-quality development of renewable energy, and effectively support the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system.
Overall, the National Energy Administration promotes the development of new energy in four aspects: optimizing regional layout, supporting development with major bases, leading development with demonstration projects, and implementing development with action plans.
For the development of photovoltaics, the National Energy Administration will adhere to the principle of simultaneous development of five aspects, centralized and distributed, on-site and external consumption, complementary development of single variety energy with other multiple varieties, and simultaneous development of single and comprehensive scenarios, further promoting the utilization of photovoltaic power generation on a larger scale, in more scenarios, in more modes, and at a higher level.
